Hotel Lomnica has been writing its story since 1894, when it was opened as one of the first hotels in the High Tatras. After its opening, it quickly became not only the most popular hotel, but also an important cultural and social center. Today, the 5-star hotel offers a special gourmet experience in its Franz Josef restaurant through a fine dining dinner. Tasting dinners are held on Friday and Saturday. The creative gastronomic team that prepares the dinner specializes in just this concept. Fine dining is available to guests in the form of an eight- or eleven-course menu with wine or non-alcoholic pairings. All you have to do is choose the variant that suits the guests the most and make a reservation for a specific date at least 24 hours in advance. Entitled The Meeting of Franz and Sissi, the menu is shrouded in mystery until you sit down at your table. The dishes are prepared with attention to detail, they are precisely mastered and the taste is very well matched. The entire menu is balanced and gradually progresses to great desserts from the hotel pastry chef’s workshop.
